We got this pinball machine for our 2 boys, ages 6 & 8, for Christmas. It set up easily & they had fun playing it right away. They play often, when they can talk husband & I into getting out of the way! :-) It is challenging enough for adults, but also fun for the kids. Everyone in our family uses it. Once in a while the ball will get stuck in the return, and you have to tip the machine to get it to go. Then it thinks your ball went down the hole again & you lose a turn. And we've had to take the cover off to replace the rubber around the flapper after it popped off. But, just minor annoyances. It's been a fun game.

After playing this pinball machine for a few weeks, I can conclude that it is a solid choice for those who don't want to spend a few thousand dollars on a big one. I do feel that Zizzle could have gone the extra half mile and made a few improvements. 1) Because of the poor 'ball shooting mechanism' which sends the ball flying into the middle of the playfield, it has a 40% chance of draining with no mercy. The machine should have a 'Shoot Again!' feature which lets you have a free shot if the ball drains within a few seconds. 2) The flippers should be a little longer or the gap a little tighter. This definitely wouldn't be a problem if they implemented improvement #1 above!! 3) The sensors don't register all the time. Sometimes, you can shoot your ball in the extra ball lane and won't get awarded. Also, one of my kickers wasn't as responsive as the other one. Aside from all this, it's still a great machine! Good sound effects, and great lights that dance all about the playfield! Be forewarned though, even though it's marketed towards kids, it is a very hard pinball game and should prove challenging for adults as well. You have to be accurate in your shots or you'll ball will eventually rebound to certain death. 5 Ball classic mode is highly recommended if you want to have a shot at beating Dr. Doom - Thus far, I've managed to beat all the villains except Dr. Doom in the final showdown. However, contrary to what the machine told me a million times over, I was unable to 'control my powers'. Three and a half stars.

We set it up in minutes, just add the legs and tighten the backboard..you're all set. Everything works great! For $[...]. it's a fun toy. The artwork on the outside case is crisp. If you're a super hero fan, you'll love this.. It's not a full size pinball machine like you find in the arcade. If that's what you're looking for, this is not the machine for you.

Great bang for the buck. If you're not interested in forking over a few grand for an all-out arcade pinball machine, this is an ideal option. Quality of gameplay ensures repeat usage, and it's a snap to assemble (the only tool you need is already included). The only drawback is that my first machine arrived damaged and defective (the box it arrives in isn't what I'd call overly protective), but Amazon's Return dept. couldn't have been better and I received a replacement right away.

We bought the game for Christmas and are very impressed with it. The bumpers are lively, the flippers are ultra responsive and the sound is fantastic! I cannot wait until Zizzle comes out with a second and third generation of these reasonably priced pinball machines. I would have given the machine 5 stars except for one annoying feature...when you launch the ball, the shoot releases the ball onto the playfield only half way up (by design). This, in my opinion, results in the ball sometimes draining much too quickly. I would have rather seen the shoot go all the way to the top of the playfield so it would have longer to travel before getting to the flippers. This is a minor annoyance though, overall, my family and I have played many fantastic games on this pinball machine. Way to go Zizzle!

A great concept but very disappointing. The toy seemed to spark interest in the box however once it was put on had many flaws. The first being the background music that plays the minute you hit the on switch. Very loud and annoying. There is a button where you can hit the music to be off but that does not keep a childs attention. They should have put music on that was not as loud and annoying. Also the 2 figures do not stay on. If you touch them the slightest bit they fall off. The toy would have been better off without them. The biggest flaw is the trap button in where you score the most points. You have to hold the button down in order for the ball to fall into it. How can you expect a 5 yr old to hold that button down while also manuvering the flippers. It is impossible. I would recommned nixing this toy off your list.
